Maria Porro, who was born in 1983, has been appointed as the next president of the Milan Salone Del Mobile. She was formerly the President of Assarredo before being picked by the Board of Directors of Federlegno Arredo Eventi to oversee the iSaloni, the major international design event.

The 60th edition of the iSaloni 2022 will once again go beyond the fair and into the city: beginning June 7, a colossal site-specific video project based on the 11 ideals that are always incorporated in the Salone’s DNA will be displayed in the Sala Delle Cariatidi of Palazzo Reale. It will show 11 auteur films by 11 significant Italian directors, including Francesca Archibugi and Pappi Corsicato.
