SaloneSatellite Talks
SaloneSatellite will be held in Hall 03 + 01 this year. Founded in 1999 as a platform and an opportunity for global creatives and makers to interact, explore, and expose their abilities, regardless of position, prestige, nationality, or gender. This annual event, created by Marva Griffin, is open to those under 35 years.

SaloneSatellite also exhibits work by design universities and schools. This involvement is intended to keep up with how the educational system is changing around design, what priorities are indicated to students and research processes, how students’ intellectual and practical abilities are stimulated, and thus their understanding of the problems and consequences of certain production methods.

SaloneSatellite Talks
The SaloneSatellite Talks in the “Design with Nature” area will be curated by an all-female trio, Maria Cristina Didero, Beatrice Leanza, and Chiara Alessi.

For Sustainability
Three Different Episodes on Transformation, Research, and Sustainable Innovation for Sustainability Maria Cristina Didero, Curatorial Director of Design Miami/ 2022, as well as a consultant and writer, has invited Victoria Siddall, a non-executive Director of Frieze, Chair of the Trustees of Studio Voltaire, and a founding member and trustee of the Gallery Climate Coalition, Daan Roosegaarde, a creative thinker, artist, innovator, and developer of social projects exploring the relationship between people, technology, and space, and Eva Feldkamp, founder and Director.

The Real Imaginary Story Of The Salone del Mobile
The event The Real Imaginary Story of the Salone del Mobile, developed and managed by essayist and curator Chiara Alessi, will feature Marco Dambrosio, known as Makkox, an illustrator and television writer, as they explore and re-imagine the trade fair’s sixty years. Their conversation will cover the essential stages of the world’s most major design event, spanning decades and spanning the most significant events from its inception in 1961 to the present day. The recollections and elegies will be marked by protagonists, events, places, images, and, of course, objects chosen by Chiara Alessi and transformed into imaginative vignettes by Makkox.
