Soho Loft Project By Gachot Studios<\/span><\/em><\/strong> will be our topic today. The original plan when the owner of this New York loft contacted Gachot Studios<\/strong>, an AD100 design firm, was to give the area a superficial update, <\/strong>but as the conversation went on, the client decided to do more extensive renovations in order to give the house a more personal feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two custom sofas and a daybed, all made by Wood, Spring & Down, are highlighted by a painting by Maysha Mohamedi. A LaVerne coffee table fills the middle of a vintage rug, while two vintage armchairs are positioned in front of a similar pair of blackened teak coffee tables by Andrianna Shamaris. Gachot designed tall apertures that were framed with Conrad Shade Material treatments to conceal the half-height windows in the living room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A massive island made of patinated brass is included in the custom kitchen, which was created by Habiterra. The backsplash made out of slate gray Bardiglio Imperiale marble, which was purchased from BAS Stone NYC, combines perfectly with the millwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sculpture by Cammie Staros and a specially made runner by Jebara & Co. are placed at strategic points along the main staircase that ascends from the dining area. Paul Matheiu created a unique sconce for Ralph Pucci to complement the sleek rail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main bedroom suite in the penthouse is surrounded on two sides by outdoor terraces, and the rooftop garden is the building\u2019s crowning feature. The communal areas are placed below the main bedroom suite. John Fischer created a bespoke bed, and Gracie lacquered nightstands, a handcrafted case piece houses the owner\u2019s music system, and an antique chaise comes with a pouf by JM Upholstery that matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Kamp Studios concrete wall has a unique fire surround built into it, defining an outdoor area that is accentuated with a Hemisphere table by May Furniture and a custom sofa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dining room in this SoHo loft project<\/strong> features a custom table that is surrounded by vintage dining chairs and a Fragile Future Chandelier that adds a delicate counterpoint to the gravitas of the black dining set. The room also features chevron oak floors and custom plaster walls by Kamp Studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Soho Loft Project By Gachot Studios<\/strong> is simply an astounding design renovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
