1. 77 Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9 Paris Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

77 Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9 is a distinctive location accessible to both professionals and the general public. It was designed and constructed in the style of the residential projects that Liaigre completes around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Liaigre x Obumex Project in Knokke<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Christian Liaigre<\/strong> has been collaborating for many years on interior design projects in Belgium and is opening a showroom at Obumex in Knokke le Zoute.
The two companies share the same vision of refined living and discreet luxury, as well as a sense of beauty based on the highest quality and most beautiful materials while giving up nothing to functionality and comfort. This opening also marks the opening of the first partnered showroom in Europe for Liaigre.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Double sides of Caribbean, Saint Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The original house, a 1950s building, was torn down. The new construction had to strictly adhere to local constraints that require building on the footprint without being able to expand either horizontally or in height. This modern house has solar visors fixed on the jacks that block light and close during a storm. A garden-side outside hallway sits on teak pillars behind the owner\u2019s suite and leads to a covered terrace in homage to colonial architecture. It was a beautiful garden that Christian Liaigre<\/strong> wanted to preserve that was the starting point for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Whaler\u2019s Island in Nantucket, USA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nantucket is an island in the North Atlantic, once dedicated to whaling, whose former inhabitants inspired Herman Melville for Moby Dick. Today, it is jealously protected by norms that impose to build identically. The project had to find a way to get around the restriction on growth as well as turn a wind-beaten dune into a garden that appears to have always been there. The answer was to construct additional dwellings to fill the empty space. A landscape created by Dutch landscape architect Piet Oudlof connects them. This flower and tall grass garden, which honors the local biotope and contains a pond, appears to be a part of nature. The interiors are handled simply and in great symmetry with the location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Urban Greece Project in Ath\u00e8nes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This townhouse on the heights of Athens has the charm and freshness of a resort. With the help of his architect friend Thassos, Christian Liaigre<\/strong> did not hesitate to destroy the entire interior of the house to reconfigure the spaces, enlarging the openings to bring in light and freshness. The simple but spacious volumes open widely to the outside, with views of the garden, the pool, and the city. A wood and stone staircase with sculptural lines distributes the different levels of the house.
The whole is modern, the house stands out as a haven of peace in the heart of the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Lumi\u00e8re du Nord \u2013 Knokke Le Zoute,\u00a0\u00a0Belgique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The design of this apartment in the beach resort of Knokke Le Zoute was inspired by the unique softness of the northern light. Liaigre attempted to capture the romantic ambiance of the North Sea in this lavish \u201cplace with a view\u201d situated between the sea and a natural preserve.
A palette of subdued light and dark tones on which the many changes of light are played, with options for gray, brown, milky, or incandescent whites and a lovely touch of green leather bronze to adorn the chairs, brings back the surroundings of which it is like the ideal echo. The art of a painter evokes the serene interiors of Flemish painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Motu tane Project in\u00a0Bora Bora<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\"Christian<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Formerly owned by French explorer Paul Emile Victor, Motu Tane had been devastated by a violent cyclone. To shield the island from severe winds and conceal the new projects, the new owner and landscape architect Pascal Cribier planted 1,000 coconut palms facing the ocean to resemble a tree barrier. Christian Liaigre<\/strong> assimilated the culture of the area and engaged himself in the community and adopted traditional building methods, such as using concrete, in an effort to blend in with the surroundings and adhere to a variety of restrictions.
All of the buildings, which include fifteen rooms and sizable rest or reception areas, have been designed with a natural aesthetic in mind to fully exploit the area\u2019s softness, the breath of the trade winds, and the scent of tiare flowers drifting in the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. New York Factory Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The three levels were designed while keeping in mind the building\u2019s dimensions and the neighborhood\u2019s character in order to prioritize space (particularly by eliminating furniture and item congestion) and to communicate sophistication without being ostentatious. The Liaigre style\u2019s sobriety or restraint highlights the unobtrusive modernity that emanates from the location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Urban at sea Yacht Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\"Christian<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Christian Liaigre<\/strong> aimed to create a unique and sober object with this ocean giant by fusing elegance and technology. The water is framed by portholes that reveal interior curvature. The yacht is made of a variety of opulent but understated materials, including doors coated in white leather, mahogany, and stainless steel for the sinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. A villa in Athens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With its sleek lines and imposing dimensions, this 800 m2 villa mixes reflection on the inside and outside to create a space for family living. In conversation with modern and traditional artwork, the furniture and finish choices make sense. In this Christian Liaigre<\/strong> project, five outside spaces in the home were also planned by the Decoration and Design department, which also developed special outdoor furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
