Milan Design Week is the largest and most important design event, featuring shows and events in hundreds of venues throughout the city’s design districts and anchored by the Salone del Mobile furniture fair. Milan Design Week, which would ordinarily take place in April, will instead take place in Milan from June 6 to 12, 2022.

Salone Del Mobile
Salone del Mobile, the world’s largest furniture market, will be held at the Fiera Milano exhibition site from June 7 to 12, 2022. This year marks the fair’s 60th anniversary, with over 2,000 exhibitors — a return to its pre-pandemic size after it was canceled in 2020, forcing organizers to conduct a scaled-down version of the event in 2021.
A Life Extraordinary by Moooi
Moooi offers a multi-sensory exhibition featuring partnerships with design firms IDEO, LG OLED, and artist Ada Soko. It includes works by Cristina Celestino, Andrés Reisinger, Jlia Esqué, and others.
Alcova
Alcova is a creative platform that investigates design advances such as materials, social practice, and sustainability. This year, it will feature a number of exhibitions that investigate how materials are handled.
Case
Case introduces many new lines, including the Ella Range created by Matthew Hilton. Case is also releasing a number of Matthew Hilton’s tables as well as Terence Woodgate’s collection of hand-blown lights.
Design Dialogues by Design Burger
Design Burger, an industrial design brand, offers Design Dialogues, an exhibition of illustrated questions from worldwide designers. Attendees may live draw alongside the designers thanks to a cooperation between Concepts App and Copic.
Monumental Wonders by SolidNature
SolidNature offers Monumental Wonders, a collection of sculptural objects made by architecture firm OMA and Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis. The exhibition displays the many technologies used to prepare natural stone.
