Carlton House Terrace is a 1970s two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Central London, near Buckingham Palace, that was completely remodeled for a Hong Kong-based family. Given their international background, they wee given the task of giving the property a British feel, from the furniture and accessories to the finishes throughout. The finished product is a stunning home away from home for a client who has everything.

Discover The Entrance

A large entrance foyer separates the entertaining and private spaces, with the two large bedrooms sharing a secluded study area in the hallway, which is styled with a mirror that reflects different views of the apartment and a sleek console table. The living and dining rooms, as well as a bar area, were previously separate rooms that were combined to create a large entertaining space for the family and their guests.

The Intertaining Area

A wine fridge and a leather-clad bar with hand-hammered studs face the main seating area in the entertaining area, which also includes the new open-plan living and dining room. A mirrored wall with brass bands stands behind the bar, adding depth to the space with its irregular geometric pattern.

GET THE LOOK – MALAY BAR CHAIR

The MALAY Bar Chairs are located right next to this fantastic bar area. The delicateness of the velvet finish contrasts beautifully with the ruggedness of the leather-clad bar, giving a graceful touch with a mystical soul and filling the entire ambience with raw, natural energy.

Master Suite

Warm tones were used throughout the private spaces, such as the study and bedrooms, to create a sense of comfort and coziness, which was amplified by the use of contrasting textures. TG Studio was able to create a new cedarwood walk-in wardrobe as part of the master suite’s structural renewal, which serves as a stunning opulent detail in an already luxurious home.
