The interior design emphasizes subtlety and tranquillity with smooth and curved finishes, basic shapes, and organic colors in an effort to make users feel welcomed and supported in their well-being. In order to give the building both a distinctive character and a strong relationship to its surroundings, curved joinery is used to establish visual markers and delineate certain zones across the communal spaces, drawing from Southampton’s maritime tradition and the nearby Regency architecture.

Hawkins-Brown demolished the inside of the space, which had been an outdated office building from the 1990s, and collaborated closely with Castleforge and Clockwise to redesign it with a modern layout that emphasizes interaction.

A new terrace built inside an existing lightwell visually conceals the basement parking lot and offers an area to enjoy some fresh air while working or socializing, while a new outside canopy at the entry makes a more friendly and dramatic presence.

The majority of the services and lifts, as well as a few pieces of furniture, are created from recycled materials. All of the walls were painted using lime-based paint, and the carpet tiles were reused whenever possible. A new bike shop, showers, and changing area encourage customers to lead an active, environmentally conscious lifestyle.
