Salone Del Mobile is without a doubt the world’s largest and most comprehensive show of debuts, collaborations, and exhibitions in the lifestyle industry.

Get To Know The Festival

This is the world’s largest design festival, with hundreds of events taking place throughout the city’s design districts, with the Salone Dl Mobile furniture market at its heart. As a result, many events and brands promote and present their fresh ideas and visions to the globe during Milan Design Week.

Alcova 22
This is expected to be one of the most popular exhibitions at Milan Design Week 2022, with 80 realities compared to 50 in the previous edition of Supersalone 2021, but with the usual variety in selection. Alcova is a platform for independent design founded by Valentina Ciuffi (founder of Studio Vedèt) and Joseph Grima (founder of Space Caviar). It is currently operating as an itinerant network of exhibition spaces in and around Milan, activating and temporarily recasting forgotten historic locations as venues for exhibitors, installations, and performances.

Alcova is defined as a lush setting with ever-changing landscape and the ideal mix of exhibitiors, including galleries, businesses, cultural institutions, research institutes, and independent designers.
La Scatola Magica

Italy and its cinema have undoubtedly shapes the very shape of modern cinema, as well as serving as the epicenter of a number of design and architectural revolutions. In La Scatola Magic, or The Magic Box, Salone returns to this convergence of arts and the definitive act of design that is filmmaking to pay homage to the city of Milan. La Scatola Magica is a massive incarnation of the camera obscura, reflecting how the fair and the city of Milan are virtuously intertwined as creative organisms – immersive audio-visual installation at the Sala Delle Cariatidi at Palazzo Reale, conceived by Davide Rampello, who also served as the installation’s artistic director and creative producer.
Pulpo L.O.V.E.BANK

Pulpo has converted a disused financial institution into a showroom showcasing its latest designs and items. The event, dubbed pulpo L.O.V.E.BANK, pays homage to the space’s previous indentity and marks the company’s first appearance at Mialn Design Week 2022, bringing together a dazzling array of items from its catalog, including collaborations with major designers like Sebatian Herkner, Studio BrichetZiegler, Julia Chiaramonti, Natascha Madeiski, and Visser & Meijwaard.
Design with Nature

Mario Cucinella, an Italian architect, designer, and academic, had an exhibit at this year’s Salone del Mobile. The Design with Nature project, which can be found at S.Project’s Pavilion 15, was built especially for Salone del Mobile’s 60th edition. Questions, recommendations, and opinions on ethics, circularity, home space, participatory design, and urban regenartion are generated over a 1,400-square-meter area.
Twenty by Tom Dixon

During Milan Design Week, British designer Tom Dixon is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of his firm with the Twenty show. At the historic Palazzo Serbelloni, Dixon is presenting some of his most well-known collections, such as Mirror Ball and Melt, which have been modified or otherwise altered.
